Here is my setup for the afternoon. Travel corridor between bedding and feeding. Killed 8 deer over the last six years from this tree including a 10 pt and a nice 9 point last year. Wish me luck!

Complete shutout. I guess that is why it's called hunting. Still beats the heck out of working[emoji3]

TN Whitetail Freak and any others that may have suggestions, I'm open and willing to listen. Here is a aerial and topo of a portion of my hunting lease. Yesterday I was hunting where the red dot is in the North East portion of the aerial. Hard to see but there is a little path between the woods that gets bush hogged and deer travel it regularly. Nothing yesterday but that is hunting. That spot produces more often than not.

Looks like you have a good spot from what I seen. Looks to be at the head of a draw which naturally funnels deer.

I marked 2 or three spots to scout

I noted the same area...nice funnel in a draw on what looks to be a transition line

Thanks for the input guys. The two northern blue dots you marked are both heavily traveled deer areas, I just haven't found the best way to hunt them yet. Things get real thick and hairy in those spots and it is hard to put a stand up. I need to go back and find a way to make it work. My best option is the Northern most blue dot. It does open up a little in there with some big hardwoods just east (50 yards) of that dot. Thanks!!

I'll be sure and lay on the horn when I drove past that from now on. :D

LOL....I can't hear myself think sometimes hunting in that area. No one else on the lease wants to hunt there because of the proximity to the interstate. I discovered the first week on the lease that the deer love it up there. One of my stands is less than 200 yards from I40. I feel the breeze of big trucks going by it seems.

I know what you mean. I've heard about a half dozen Jake brakes today. I'm about 5 miles down the road from your spot.
