Ok went back over to my calling stand from last Sunday morning and saw 3-4 buzzards in the pasture 'behind' the big whiteoak where I last saw the coyote run off. Thought wow what are they after?-walked down the fence line to where I could see with binoculars and indeed they were feeding on something and not just hanging out. Walked the 200 yards or so to the spot and lo and behold a dead coyote!! Yehaw-no Maggies Drawers. I had shot 3x as he was at a full haul azz sprint starting at about 90 and ending at about 160. I lost him behind the whiteoak and thought he had run on off to the nearest fence line. But I 'assumed' wrong. During the shooting I didn't detect any yips yaps or spins ect-just running like a thoroughbred. From the remains it looked like I hit him in the guts as there were several fragment holes in the off side hide in front of the rear leg. At least I didn't educate that one for much more than about 10 seconds I reckon. Made my day. There will be plenty of misses to come no doubt but that wasn't one. PH

No Redblood he wasn't stinky at all-I was surprised. The buzzards had cleaned up most all the soft tissue and he was just a hide, axial skeleton, and legs basically. PH
