I FINALLY got a good buck pic in this area(first time placing a camera here) . This small plot was designed with the thought of mature bucks feeling safe in it. This is definately a good start of a plan coming together. Learning how to age but my first thought is 4.5 yo.

I'm not sure but I think I have a summer pic of him. I will post it when I am done digging through them.

Just looked and I have a nine pointer but the five is on his right side not left. I guess that is still good news. Another good buck dodging us.

I think that is the same buck in velvet.

Sagging belly, short legs, thick neck running into brisket.... I'd guess 4.5 - 5.5.

Nice buck.

What kind of trail camera are you using? takes good night pics.

it is a moultry made for cabelas. My wife bought it for me at Christmas. Wasn't my first choice but it has been a decent camera.

Da, I hope Tyler kills him. The area he is in is an area that I have been working on for him to hunt. I agree the best way is pull the jaw. I'm just excited to have him around.

That's him in the summer pic Rich. Rack is a perfect match. Easy 3 1/2, might be 4 1/2.

That's good to know.

I pulled my cameras out after the summer pic above. I was kinda nervous on spooking the bucks. I was estatic seeing these pics and only hope to get a pic of the nice ten and the buck with a jaw impaction. I may never see these deer while hunting but can't help to feel proud of their use of my property. Bow Hunting it has definately humbled me in my thoughts to even come close to killing these deer. I have a lot of growing to do as a land owner and a wanna be bow hunting, mature buck killing, knucklehead.

That's the plot in the bottom of the left-hand valley correct?

If I understand you correctly that is where the summer pics were. It is a long field(174 yards). The night time pic is a bench that may have not been dozed yet that you said could have been an old pond. I forgot that you were out before I finished the dozer work. It has really changed..hopefully for the better.

Yes, that is the food plot I was thinking of (summer pic). Interesting that the recent pic is on the old pond bench.

I don't think that is the same buck, like you said before the summer pic shows five on the right while the recent pic only shows four and it doesn't look like he has broken one off.
