I had to travel to a jobsite in NE TN yesterday, and decided to take my fishing pole. I will leave the location undisclosed, but let me just say that I had fun in my 1 hour of lunchtime fishing. I got rained on (absolutely soaked for my 3.5hr drive home), but caught 2-13" trout, had 1 on that was slightly larger, and 2 really small ones that got away, as well. I know that it may sound like a fishermen's story, but I had several follow my roostertail in that were easily twice the size of the ones that I caught, I just couldn't get them to take it. I have never seen trout that big in the wild before. I may get another chance to try it again in hte future, but the two that I caught are being lemon peppered and broiled tonight.

I may take you up on that, Rick. I enjoy trout fishing, but have always just done it "hit or miss," using corn or roostertails. What kind of jerbait do you use? The water is crystal clear.

I'm one of those guys who uses $18-$20 lures. They work better than anything I've used. 10# Seaguar InvizX is a must to make sure you don't lose your lure on a monster or a snag. I will most likely head up there this weekend. I went Monday in the bad weather and absolutely had a day to remember. PM me your number and I will text the pics to you. I don't post pics of trout anymore.

It really depends on the type of lure I'm using and what part of the river I'm fishing. Most of the time it's jerk and retrieve though.
