Well got my son off the bus at 4 and we head to the woods we are in a hurry due to lack of daylight so when we get to hunting property we jump out and take off now my son is 9 and has never even shot a muzzleloader so I let him carry my extra muzzleloader to see if we can get him his first deer with a smoke pole well as we are walking to stand I realize I don't have my rubber boots all I have on is crocs on so there I set on stand with my feet cold. Well long story short right at dark had 4 does walk out at 50yrds even thou he shot the smallest of the 4 but I was still pumped and he was to the look on his face when he pulled the trigger and looked back when all that smoke was hanging around he is hooked.
