I took a 870 on trade last week, didnt check the choke to see if it would come out at the time, tried to take it out the other day and it was stuck...It has been soaking in WD-40 in a jar for 3 days, tried it this morning it wouldnt budge....any advice? I have a regular choke tool....

Put the barrel in a freezer for a couple of hours, then heat the end of the barrel with a propane torch. Be careful when heating not to scorch the bluing. The barrel metal will expand before the choke metal does. It only takes a slight amount of heat to accomplish expansion. I would have the barrel secured in a good vise before attempting this.

Ok...so that didnt work...is there anybody that can cut my barrel down to a 26" barrel and rethread it?

You need the Kroil oil. Stick the gun barrel down into any container deep enough to completely immerse the choke tube in Kroil for at least a day.

Have a vice ready. Pull it out of the Kroil, lock it in the vice, put some muscle into breaking lose the choke.

Or

Buy a new barrel it will be cheaper. Also, if the choke has rusted solid, what does that say about the rest of the barrel?

If you don't have a torch, do you have a gas stove?

Will work fine if Wife doesn't catch you with a shotgun in your hands warming the barrel up in HER kitchen. I mean, consider the appearances, eh?

Use the stove like a torch. Get the barrel warm almost hot, clamp in vise, unloosen the choke.

I'd try Kroil penetrating oil or a 50/50 mix of 100% acetone and Dexron/Mercon automatic transmission fluid (shake vigorously to mix up) and then spray/soak overnight, or for longer if not in a hurry.

Bass Pro shops, probably Cabelas, midway, I think I saw sears.

I see you can get it in aerosol, I'd skip that, you want the can.

I've had things get stuck like this and patience is the best way to go. It don't cost you a thing to let that penetrating oil work. Once you break, bend, mutilate, melt, or otherwise crap it up, you can't go back. I've been there! Just let it soak a week at a time then go by and try it with a standard choke wrench. If it don't come out, let it soak some more. A few pecks every now and then with a non metal hammer could help break the rust loose so the oil can soak in better.

Well I might as well add my two cents worth. Take it out back and fire half a box of shells through it fast as you can. While the barrels still hot squirt some more penetrating oil on it put the choke tube wrench back on give the wrench a good whack with a deadblow hammer and unscrew it.
Worked for me!!

Back to the ATF sounds right. I learned this from a friend that was given a pistol that had been sitting in a damp basement in a paper box ( the rest of the story was beyond belief). I thought there was no way to restore that gun but he did overtime using ATF and just letting it soak. Good luck.
