7mm08 with 140 gr sgk hp

Anybody load the hp gamekings in their 7-08's?

How did they perform on game?

I used them last yr in a 308. Bullet didn't expand as far a I could tell. Complete pass thru and other than the hole all vitals were still intact. The bullet itself is very accurate. I was disappointed. I've switched to the spitzer sgk

Velocity was right around 2725. The deer was at 30 yards. Lung shot.

I'll probably just punch paper with them and use the Prvi 140 gr pspbt's for deer. They are cheap, accurate and expand well with the load I use in my model 7.
