45 lbs road kill wild turkey in the news....

Saw this last night on the Johnson City news. They claim it was a 45 lbs wild turkey that was 4 feet long! Happened near the Jackson Farm on Hwy 107 in Washington County.

45lbs? Really? I'm gonna have to make a phone call or two to my WCSO buddies and find out if Stanton actually weighed the thing or if he was just "guess-timating" its weight. I just dont see how a 45lb turkey could fly. If it was that big, I hope it got that way eating the feral cats that live down around Jackson Island.
