I have 150 Nosler Partition .264 140gr that I want to load in .260 Remington. Anybody have a good load for that bullet weight/caliber?
I don't have exact numbers, but safest bet is to start at the minimum load in a reputable reloading manual and work up slowly. Always watch for pressure signs and go conservative with the first few rounds.I have 150 Nosler Partition .264 140gr that I want to load in .260 Remington. I don't remember the charge weight off the top of my head, but I had good luck with both H4831 and H4350 in mine. I will dig around and see if I can find my notes.I have 150 Nosler Partition .264 140gr that I want to load in .260 Remington. Anybody have a good load for that bullet weight/caliber?
H4350 seems to be the most used in what I've found in my limited research. I've read that it's very insensitive to temperature changes which is a plus. I think I'm gonna do some powder shopping today.I don't remember the charge weight off the top of my head, but I had good luck with both H4831 and H4350 in mine. I do remember that it was faster than the 4831.H4350 seems to be the most used in what I've found in my limited research. I've read that it's very insensitive to temperature changes which is a plus. I think I'm gonna do some powder shopping today.
Thanks but I have these 140gr in hand and will only be loading them in this session. Heading out for some H4350 that's in stock at a mom and pop store in a little while.Don't have any in 140 but have several in 120, 125, and 129 if you want those.
