22LR suggestions?

I would like to have a 22lr mid frame to keep with me when working around my pond and in the bottoms. What would be a good one to have. All my local store has in revolver western style in 22lr.

I have a gsg 1911 style holds 10 rds and is not picky about ammo and is very accurate I had it about 8ys now with out any problems and dont know how many rounds been sent threw it but would highly recommend it

Taurus TX22. 16 rounds, smooth shooting, accurate and you can still find them for around $300.

Rugers are good guns and come in all sizes. For the money a rough rider is hard to beat. Comes with a 22mag cylinder as well and you can shoot bird shot.

Browning buckmark. I can put 10 in a shoal can lid at 20 yards. Killed squirrels and even shot lizards off hand with it. Ruger mark 2 or 3 are just as accurate.

I've had a Buckmark for years. I recently put a cheap red dot on it. Plenty of aftermarket support, so it was easy as can be.

Check your local Academy store. Typically have them for $429. Fun times, especially with a can on it to make it "almost" Hollywood quiet.

Look into a g44 if you are a Glock person. It's extremely light compared to other glocks. Shoots the same, feels the same, but very lightweight. Also if you have other glocks (it's the same size as g19/23 gen5), it's a great practice gun… I also have a beretta 92 and this has me tempted to get the m9-22

I used the Rugers, various Mark Models, for years as a rent a guns for range classes. Accurate, eats most ammo well and handle infrequent cleaning pretty well... Like the Buckmarks also but have encountered finicky ones.
Suspect that you can find one at a local pawn shop if not a new one at a full size gun shop.

Another vote for the Glock. It is reliable and accurate.

I have a Buckmark bullseye I bought new in 06 eats all ammo no issue and accurate I dont know how many rounds have been put through it since 06. Only 22lr pistol I have. I would like to get a SW or Ruger revolver with the 22mag cylinder also, but dang the prices are crazy.

I have a Ruger single six, stainless with both cylinders I've had for at least 30 years. It has an 8" barrel, shot many rabbits with it. Magnums put a little hurt on a rabbit and coons.
