Looked up Hollar Hunter's "Freak Show" buck and it is very similar but not the same buck. Must be similar genetics.

I don't know very similar I would like to see some more pics of him and bigger ones....The pics of FREAK SHOW were from a trail cam Right on the edge of Davidson County...Either way A once in a lifetime trophy for sure...

The brow tine and some of the stickers on the left side look particularly different. I bet it's in the same gene pool though. Probably shot by someone in their backyard in Forest Hills lol
 
Y'all think this is the same deer? The brow looks different but hard to believe there's two bucks so close and similar?

I can't tell in the kill pic if that's actually his brow tine or part of his shirt. The more I look at it the more I think it's the same deer. If you look at the tallest tine on the left side it's the same as the trail pic. If you look at the right side it clubs out just the same as the trail pic. I think it's the same deer....

Im with ya Holler Hunter . The brow tines could have been manipulated while still in velvet . After the trail cam pic? It sure is very similar .
And like you said what are the odds of two amazing animals that unique and similar at the same time .
 
Definately the same deer. No way two deer are so close identical with the same crazy traits!

dang I'll be darned, I was convinced they were different. I need to study the pics real close for a while
 
I see several tines that are different. It's almost weird because there are a few tines that are very similar. I would feel confident saying they are two different bucks. If you look at the pictures side by side you can see the differences. The brows would not change that dramatically and there are 3 tines coming outward on the dead deer's right side that don't match up with your trail cam picture. I guess the good news is it's two different bucks!
 
I don't know the date of the trail cam pics, but the dead deer is much stronger on it's left side. But when i look at it closer I think I see the forward kicker on the right brow tine on the dead deer. I think i would try to contact the shooter.

brow tines dont change shape over the summer. On one deer it (left brow tine) curves in and on the other it curves out. Different deer.

I will say this first thing i did tho was pull up your trail cam pics to see if it was the same.

Who posted the pics on the site?? is he not a member?
