I took this buck yesterday with my buddys Sako 270. He passed away with liver cancer this past August. He'd be proud I harvested this buck the first time with his rifle.

That's awesome! I lost a cousin to Covid in August 2021 and he had a sako 243 that I killed a doe with last year. Was as happy with that doe as any buck I've ever killed. I'm sure your friend was smiling down.

I sent his a picture of the buck to his wife telling her he'd be happy, and she said the same "was smiling down".
