Well could have sworn a big doe at 25yards but got a button buck from my new saddle rig. First sit with my new XOP saddle kit/sticks. Naturally the deer came in backwards & hung up so I got to practice rolling under the tether and hanging backwards for the shot. I guess old helps with slow. Because of heavy brush could only see part of head/neck and chest but square broadside.
Saw my top of 💘 so another 30 stepper maybe... I really need to get used to this new killer Instinct scope. More power/zoom than my old Barnett was surprised as all get out when found this little dude.

Got my first good buck with a bow this week.
Davidson county, 25 yards from the ground sitting against a tree. Hadn't seen any bucks on this 7acre property this year. He slipped in on me an hour after shooting light and was at 30 yards walking across the oak flat when I first saw him.
I was shaking real bad but steadied up as he stepped out from behind a tree, he went 35 yards and I watched him wobble and tip over. Incredible morning!
