2018 turkey quota hunts

Looks like they open up on Dec 13. With 3 points, what should I try for? Any chance at Yuchi? Only other hunt that would interest me would be the early Chuck Swan Hunt. Wish TN would have more options.

I've got 3 points as well.. Ive been putting in for Yuchi but Ive heard it takes 4-5

Drew Fisheating Creek WMA first hunt back home. Going to have one hell of a crew up in there. Them swamp ghosts are in trouble, sure 'nuff. Will hunt The Cypress for 5 days after that. Put in for Chuck Swan today. Quality hunt, year after year.

I'm looking at doing a quota hunt this year as I lost my best turkey hunting farm being sold 2 days before bow season opened and my other farm that I leased the land owner decided not to lease it any more as family wants to hunt it. What are some of the better places to put in for a hunt?

Anybody remember what day we heard back on the quota hunts last year? I'm used to these other states that are much more prompt so I get impatient with TN.

I imagine it just keeps getting longer every year with the low number of permits available for it but that place is ate up with turkey so I don't mind the wait

Turn around time of 3 weeks, steady improvement over the last 3 years.

Have been drawn every year that I can remember, put the boy on with me this year as he wants to try hunting and we didn't draw anything. Lol Didn't expect a youth draw as the available pemits are so few. Oh well....we have 1 priority now.

I now have a priority point. My 9 year old got Yuchi on the youth draw. He will be excited to say the least!
