I've been out the loop on jeep stuff for a bit but my guess is the lug pattern is actually 5 on 5.5" (5 lugs at 5.5" diameter).
As for the width on 35's, it would depend how wide the 35's are, I'm assuming 12.5". I have run a 35x12.5x15 on a 8" wide wheel with great luck, also run 33x12.5x15 on a 7" wide wheel and was fine...hell also ran them on a 10" wide wheel with decent luck. You just have to find the right pressure to make them wear even.
