2013 Alumacraft 1442 NCS (no center seat model) w/ 2011 Mercury 15 hp 4-stroke - $3,300
Great small water setup that has been good to me as a hunting & fishing combo rig. I'm finally going to upgrade to a bigger boat and don't want to let this one sit. The original owner barely used it, and I've had it around 7-8 years. It goes on about 7-10 fishing trips a year, and ~ 3-4 duck hunting trips when the water is too shallow for my friends' bigger boats.
Riveted flat-bottom jon boat, no leaks. Open floor plan for lots of options. Minor surface scratches typical of moderate use, but no damage otherwise. Trailer is in good shape, and bearings were greased ~ 6 months ago. The floor is 6'-6" x 42" of open space, which makes for a good starter duck hunting boat or holding lots of fishing gear. I have hunted 3 people out of it multiple times in deeper water by putting a camo camp chair in the middle.
Mercury 15 hp 4-stroke outboard with electric and pull start, currently stored separately in garage for the winter. Motor runs great and starts within 1-3 seconds - very quiet on the water. Only ran on ethanol-free gas, and I put SeaFoam through the motor every year to keep the carburetor clean. Prop is in OK shape. Motor cowl has chipped piece ~ 1" by 5" that I covered with black duct tape. Manual tilt, but it does have the shallow water tilt option (red lever on the side). I don't run the gas motor very much, as I'm normally using a trolling motor for fishing. It only has estimated 60 hours of use. Oil & spark plugs were changed 2 months ago before storage. The transom saver is not pictured, but I will reinstall motor on the boat and set up transom saver for you before you buy it. Motor weighs ~100 lbs, so it can be taken off pretty easily (I suggest 2 people do this to avoid risk of dropping).
I attached a video of a cold crank from this past weekend. That was my first time starting it since I put the new spark plugs in (wish I had done that sooner!).
Price includes:
- Boat w/ trailer & spare tire
- 15 hp motor
- Starting battery (lawn & garden battery)
- Transom saver
- 6.6-gallon gas tank
- 2 seats
- pedestal mount extension for front seat
- Boat title & bill of sale
The boat is not wired up - I just put a trolling motor battery at the base of the front platform and clamped a motor (with adapter) to the front. If interested, I will add in the 34-lb thrust Minn Kota Endura tiller trolling motor, clamp adapter, and trolling motor battery for an extra $250.
I'd prefer not to split up the motor and the boat, but I will consider offers (since they are currently separated for winter storage). I've been asked a couple of times already. I'd take $1500 for the boat & trailer, and $1800 for the motor. No rush to sell.
I live in Bartlett (suburb of Memphis) and work in SW Memphis area. Best time to see the boat is after 5 PM most days, or on weekends. We can meet somewhere reasonably close.
