Got one series of pics of this guy last week. Hopefully he'll be around next year.

Hopefully so - bigger and better likely. We need these type photos at the end of the season to keep us guessing into the new year...
 
impossible to age at that angle... if he's 3.5, expect him to get quite a lot larger next year.
if he's already mature, I doubt he'll get much bigger.

still something to look forward to until next season

Sorry, I had not seen the responses. This is the first and only time I'd gotten pics of him. This is on public land and I only had a cam in this spot for a week before I needed to pull it. I'm definitely hoping to cross paths with him next year. After getting the pic, I did hunt this spot once and ended up with a nice 7. Here's the finished European mount of him. He has a 17.5" inside spread and 5.25" bases. I'm not a tooth expert, but I'm guessing he was no more than 3.5.
