Even with as much pressure as we have around us, I can pass him if I see him. Told my wife, if she sees this one, as hard as it would be for her to let him go, that he needs at least another year, and could be a heck of a deer next year. I think he is less than 3.5, may only be 2.5. I think he has very nice potential.

Yeah, she said she didn't know if she could pass him up. I would be happy for her if she shot him, but admit I would be happier if she passed him and shot him next year.

Just had an opportunity on this buck. One of, if not the biggest antlered deer I have ever let walk.

He is at least 17 inches inside, got a good look at him coming at me this morning. Pic from a different camera, from video screenshot. Getting pics of him pretty regularly now during daylight on our property, hoping he is bedding somewhere close if not on us.

Pretty buck. I have a few just like him

He was still around on December 21, on my last card swap. I will probably check cams again sometime this week.

Swapped cards this morning, no more pics of him. Last pic I got of him was on December 21.

No sign of this buck running cams this year so far. Was hoping by now I would have at least gotten a few pics of him to see how much he had grown since last year. He didn't show up on our farm and cams last year until mid November though, so maybe he is still around.

Had a couple of the same age class 8 pointers I passed that i know made it through last season, may be getting pics of one of those.
