Will he gain anymore length this year or are they just about done?

He'll still grow more but how much depends on if he's getting the nutrients needed. I believe growth is 1/4 inch a day but I could be wrong
The tips of his tines do not look bulbous, so I would not expect much more tine length (height). From the reading/research I've done, the majority of growth, especially beam/tine length is done by early August.

Every buck is unique in his growth timing. Some are done by late July, some are still growing into late August. The only way to know if a buck is still growing is to look at the tips of his tines/beams. If they are still bulbous, they are still growing. If they have narrowed down to a point, they have finished growing.

You'll hardly recognize him once he drops velvet too. Look at least 10% smaller, maybe more
