Best day Ever

This past weekend I was able to watch my grandson and my son in law kill their first double together. It was my son in laws first turkey. This hunt has been two years in the making. I have been able to call in two birds for my grandson during juvenile, but just couldn't make it work for the son in law. They do not live here and can only make a couple weekends to turkey hunt. Worked really hard keeping up with the birds location and Saturday morning it worked better than my dreams. Roosted two birds Friday evening and they came in right of the roost. I was satisfied to have called in, videoed and watched them make a memory for the rest of their life, but my grandson was not ready to quit. So two hours later I killed mine. I will hunt some more this year, but it can not top this hunt.

yes, I am very blessed to have a small waterfall on our farm.

My wife is having a large print made for my office to frame. I have pinched myself a time or two to make sure it really happened.
