Got this guy on a camera a few years back. Never saw him during season. Neighbors had camera pictures for the next year, but he was never seen during season or shot. What are your thoughts?

I'd say 160-65. I have a 154" and his G4's are better than mine. And the extra junk adds up too.

Never heard of him getting shot. Was seen the next year on a neighbors camera numerous times but then disappeared. I did take a 174 1/2 this year that had similar features but also a huge drop on the right side. Don't think it was the same deer.

Man idk, it could very well be the same deer you killed. They have very similar frames and he developed a flyer.

I was thinking the exact same thing...they resemble one another a great deal.

EDIT: is it common for you to have deer of this caliber on your properties? I would find it hard to not believe it's the same deer if these are by far the largest two you have seen in your area....

These 2 are by far the heaviest in mass and points, although this year I saw at least 4 bucks on camera that were larger than any I'd seen in the previous 7 years here. Three of them are in the pics below. The first one was shot this season. The middle one was caught on video again the last week of the season, and no one shot the last one, which I got on camera again in November. None of these have been seen in years past. I figured the 174 I shot might have just been a wanderer like the others. Shot it within 200 yards of where the 2017 pic was taken. Both were also on the bench of a very deep and steep (500 feet or so) hollow where I've seen many deer bed each year. Thick as all get out, and I don't hunt it much because anything shot and trailed into that hollow would have to be cut up and packed out. True billy goat terrain. I suppose it could be the same deer. Maybe all the junk seen in these pictures converted into the big drop tine and cleaner bases.
