Thought this might be a pretty good topic...tell me what your favorite lure is for early spring time bass and why. Be specific if it is a specific brand, size and color.

Mine would have to be Rapala DT6(Ike's Demon). Why...it just out-fishes everything else I've used during the early spring. I've caught some really good bags of fish using only this bait.

A close second would be a zoom trick worm on a shaky head. This is my all around favorite...no matter what time of year!

I don't bass fish but I can tell you for some reason, I have a dozen plus orders from guys at work for this color right here, right now. It's a LC 2.5 blank that I painted red, over a yellow base coat and put craw patterns on the side. I was showing some of the lures I had painted and one of the guys asked me if I could do a red and black crawfish. This is what I came up with and when I showed him the picture, he wanted 10 of them. I did those for him and others saw them and now I am bombarded. They all want that one specific color pattern.

I can see why you're bombarded with the orders right now. Red crawfish pattern is really good this time of year. Here's what my favorite one looks like...

Mega bass 110 jerkbait in deadly shad. They are pricey but catch alot of bass. They are also warranted so if they break you can send them back and they will mail you another( I have done this twice)

The warranty wouldn't help me much...I never break them...just get them hung and lose them! haha
