Good first check. Had 16 DPs set. 2 doubles. If it's good enough for one trap you better set 2. 4 raccoons and a possum. Helping turkeys out one egg eater at a time.

I just use cheapest cat food I can find. This year I started putting some fish oil around trap

Love it!!. I'm at 17 Coons and 8 possums this year. Ran my traps 5 times I believe.

Had to pull traps for week or so for work and weather but got them set back Monday. Had a pullout yesterday and this big sow waiting on me this morning.

3 pound pan tension and I'm still catching possums and coons.. I don't mind but surprised. MB550 offset held this big boar by the back foot this morning

I only use MB550.never had any critter pull out. Only if they roll on the set will they false fire the trap. Deer will easily pull out.

Thanks. I haven't run any traps the last 2 years, but when I did I always used corn as bait so I would only catch coons (no possums or skunks). Was thinking about setting traps again this year. Guess I should switch to cat food. How do you dispatch a skunk without them spraying?
