I would not count out ALABAMA just yet. Nick Saban is still the Greatest Coach of all time GOAT! He has not forgotten how to coach that is for sure. Fix a few things here fix a few things there and BAM. Start by firing Bill O Brian. I saw hints of it in a presser the other day when he was asked.
6th ranked scoring offense.

Paul Finebaum:

" This is the worst coaching job Nick Saban has done at Alabama in 15 Years "

" for Nick Saban it feels like the window is closing tightly "

" 4 times he was out coached this year"

" one title in last 5 seasons, you can't claim a Dynasty with 1 title in 5 seasons."

So, Notre Dame's a dynasty?

I don't think a couple trips to the 4-team playoff(with no wins) constitutes a dynasty. I think the closest thing to another recent Dynasty might be Clemson, although they have really tailed off. GA very well could be at the beginning of a run. I don't see any other teams that could even make a decent argument that they are a dynasty.

Why O'Brien? It's your defense that sucks so bad.

Finebaum is an idiot....and Alabama has 4 SEC Championships and 2 National championships in the last 5 seasons. '''though I would agree that 5 consecutive very successful seasons including a mix of Nattys and Conference Champ trophies ) is a reasonable benchmark for a dynasty. If that is the criteria, I don't think another team is anywhere close.

Naaaaaa! Ole Miss by 4
I should have used the /s or italics, although I do still think Bama wins this game.

Like a few years in the past, I think the claims that the dynasty is over are premature. That said, it will be interesting to see how Saban's team responds. I expect them to be fired up and will perform well against Ole Miss, but what if the Bama team goes aTm? Then we'll know the dynasty is over for sure.

Some claim that kids don't respond to the Saban old school dictatorial coaching. Maybe, but I wonder if the pool of top notch assistant coaches just aren't wanting to put up with his style anymore? The WRs are flat out awful, albeit being high 4 and 5 stars, and he's had to rely on the transfer portal two years in a row to fill in and there's no Jamo this year (developed elsewhere). Same with the secondary (ironically that's Saban's forte'). The O line with 5 star studs across the board is underperforming to put it mildly. O'Brien is part of the problem too. Never understood that hire.
