the UV light will make bug egg clusters glow like led bulbs too. i do a pest survey in my garden to get a count of the bad pests. kind of like IPM when i was a beekeeper.

not very many again this year but i dont use synthetic fertilizer except on corn anymore. synthetic fertilizers makes the plants bitter and attracts the bugs.

I guess i am going to have to try my light when it is completely dark. I havent found any using the light right after sunset, but there are droppings on a few leaves on a few plants, so I know they're are there somewhere.
possibly. i can see them at dusk witha utility light shining. make sure to shine it under the leaves and around the stems.

could be theyve already pupated as well.
