This is not easy, but it's time for my truck to move on. I need the room in my shop and I only drive it a few times a year.
I bought this in 2015 from a guy in Michigan who said it deserved better than the winters there. It's a born and raised California truck and has had only one paint job shortly before I bought it. I do not know the mileage, but the frame is solid and I wouldnt be afraid to drive it cross country, minus gas prices.
It's toting a 460 from a 71 Lincoln with Edelbrock cam for bottom end torque, Edelbrock intake and 4-barrel carb. It's truly a beast with the 4-speed pink unicorn.
It has had metal floorboard pans installed as well as bed skins, other than that all body is original.
I have an appraisal from a vintage appraiser dated 2014 at $15,285. Since then I have restored/upgraded the interior and performed several mechanical fixes/upgrades keeping it as original as possible. One cool thing about this truck is the wiring has not been hacked or added onto and every light and instrument works, except that the temp gauge stopped working recently.
It is old and has leaks, which some I've repaired. I'm diligent and keep a check on fluids and the drivetrain is good to go.
I have a vintage auto insurance company insuring it and they valued it at 20k this past fall.
I'll answer any questions about the truck I have an answer for. Im listing here for a while and will make a nice donation to the site that has kept me company for years if it sells here. Asking $16,500
I do have the chrome trim for the truck which was not re-installed after the paint job.

Soddy Daisy, yes it's a real place
Oh my goodness, that's a gorgeous truck and would go perfectly with my 1977 F100 but I'd be divorced if I brought home another old Ford. I can see it now my green 1977 F100 with its big red brother 1977 F250 sitting side by side in the garage. Then I see all my clothes and stuff tossed in the front yard lol. Dang that's a gorgeous truck.
