Trade you. I'm part way through chamfering & reaming primer pockets on this lot. I don't even know how many there are! I lost the feeling in my hands about 3 hours back.....Measured lake city 223 brass this morning. Have roughly 225 to trim, about the same in spec that I just need to debur and chamfer.
At least you are not turning a hand crank trimmer. I recently got the power adapter for my hornady cam lock trimmer, I sure don't miss cranking that handle.Trade you. Wish I had bought the little $15 adapter for mine long ago. Yep, can use cordless drill with it now, goes a bit quicker and a lot easier on the right hand.Oh lordy! I use my trimmer with a cordless drill!
Got a picture of that?Oh lordy! I use my trimmer with a cordless drill! Unhooked the handle & used a slightly longer bolt into the spindle.
I just take the handle off my RCBS and a half inch drill will go over the shaftGot a picture of that?
I Jerry rigged a Lyman universal similarly once like that. What I'm interested in is if robtattoo used the cutter on the Frankfort and how he done that with a drillI just take the handle off my RCBS and a half inch drill will go over the shaft View attachment 132765
Not a Frankfort, no. Sorry, i missed that. I'm using an old RCBS.I Jerry rigged a Lyman universal similarly once like that. What I'm interested in is if robtattoo used the cutter on the Frankfort and how he done that with a drill
I've made the same adaptor for mine, works perfectly.I don't know if I have posted this here or not but an adapter for any of the motorized case prep stations to use the Lee trimmer gauges works great to process large batches.
I thought you took that Frankfort machine and made it better
You ever try to use that rascal for trimming down .300blk brass?! All there is sticking out is the freaking rim!I thought you took that Frankfort machine and made it better
I've not done that, but did trim 1500 223 last year. It sucked. Another quick trim tool… took a Lee trimmer die and the cutter. Set my trim die a hair tall and cutter in the drill. Took 30-06 and resized to 7x57. I'd still be trimming if I hadn't done thatYou ever try to use that rascal for trimming down .300blk brass?! All there is sticking out is the freaking rim!
