I would guess that is probably Dickel stuff, but these days who knows. I have a freind that is all about Uncle Nearest which he says he can't find. I should tell him it's George Dickel with a different label.Do not think it has been released yet. I see pre-sale listing on a google search. Probably not know until the middle of next week but I'll be sure to askNot bourbon, but do you have access to this and, if so, what's the minimum purchase and what would my cost be, ballpark:

Problem is, it's all shipped out and Tennessee is one of the states that it can't be shipped to.
How crazy is that?

I was gonna bid on the RVW but my lord at the prices out there. Don't wanna embarrass myselfFirst off, I got the thumbs up from Blackbeard to post. Not sure if anyone has seen a couple of my previous posts, but I work at a liquor store in Lewisburg. This week, we received in some highly allocated bourbon. One of them a possible once in a lifetime opportunity, the other not so much. I receive nothing personally from the sale of product. I simply wanted to put this out there to seen if any Tndeer members might be interested. Mind you, I have notified several loyal customers as well.
The first, and less allocated of the two is Stagg Jr. We received a case of 6 and I have one bottle left and wanted to give members a shot before I sold it. I'll give it a couple days on here and then I'll sell to anyone that comes in and requests it. The price is $99.99 before tax.
The second is Rip Van Winkle 10 year 107 proof. I have not set a price and am doing a "silent auction" of sorts. Bottle will go to the highest bidder. Prices on the internet are crazy high on this one. I opted to let our loyal customers and "local" market dictate the price. If you're interested, pm me your name, number, and best offer. I will not divulge any offers with other bidders in an attempt to drive up the price.
Would really like to announce a winner on Monday, so if you are interested, please pm me by Sunday afternoon.
John
From the website, it's all sold out. Don't have a clue where it's distilled.Very crazy.
Does anyone know who distilled it for Mike? I can't find any record of a Knobel distillery.
Not at the moment. Usually get a couple bottles every other month or soDo you have any EH Taylor single barrel or small batch?
Thanks, I appreciate it. Yea, it sucks I can't get it shipped to me here in TN. I can get Amber Falls Wines shipped to me but not this stuff.Do not think it has been released yet. I see pre-sale listing on a google search. I'll talk to salesman next week to see when/if we can get it
The Nearest Green Distillery is just down the road maybe 15 minutes away and not sure they're making their own yet. Doing a lot of work though on the property. I bought a bottle of it back in the summer and it was pretty good. Got it at a liquor store in Murfreesboro.I would guess that is probably Dickel stuff, but these days who knows. George Dickel is making it for them. Long story about that distillery, but I hope it fails. They are riding on a half truth story and basically black mailing Mr. Daniels. The Nearest Green Distillery is just down the road maybe 15 minutes away and not sure they're making their own yet. That is not Pappy Van Winkle. Not sure what Rip Van winkle is going for, but Pappy for sure is the sought after and ridiculous.Sure would like that Pappy!
