I used it last season. Had a doe cross where I waked in about 7 yards in front of me. She stopped dead in tracks and stared at me. I may try it again but it definitely got her attention

not sure that's the intent of evercalm. I don't think I have had one alert because of it.

Too many very close deer encounters for me to stop using it now. I know people that laugh at it but I will continue using it. Had one walk up on me while I was climbing a ladder stand in the dark. Literally sniffed the ground beneath me. It eased away and I got to the top of my stand turned on my light to find something in my bag and it was back close to the bottom of my stand again. Didn't even bolt. Had one stick its entire head in my ground blind with me in it sniffing around. Last one was at LBL last year. Had a deer get 4 yards of me looking and sniffing me like crazy. Turned and started walking away. I raised gun, it spooked but just stood there. Shot it at 8 yards.

Used it for the first time last year and will use it more this year. Seems to make a difference on smell from walking the trail.
I put it on the sides of my rubber boots for the walk in and then add a couple swipes on the bark once I'm in the stand. Don't know if the last one does anything, but can't hurt.

Anybody ever used this?? I bought a stick the other day to try.

I've used it the past few years with pretty good success. I'll also use their buck scent during Rut.

Good golly, does that stuff stink!
I bought a two pack w/ one each Evercalm and another the buck scent.
The buck scent resides in its own heavy ziplock.

About the only kind of scent that I will use. It is not a cure for all situations but I have not seen where I ever thought it hurt me.

I saw yesterday (Friday) that Academy Sports had it marked down from $18.99 to $14.99. They make some that you use for licking branches, etc. I thought about trying it there but can't find any in the stores.

I agree evercalm works, I put it on my boots on the way in then scrape a little on the tree I am in and a couple surrounding trees. One time me mad my buddy were bowhunting together about 200 yards apart along 2 separate travel routes. We could see each other. Had a doe come to the base of my tree and start licking where I scraped the evercalm. She moved on and picked up my buddies trail and went right to his tree. Now he didn't scrape any on the trees because it was my stick so he only had it on his boots.

Only time I have had that happen with it but I have had them follow my trail in or they will hit my path and just sniff and smell around and continue eating etc.

The only other scents I have had luck with our deer dander and a homemade vanilla spray I make. Never had much luck with estrous scents so pretty much just use these three now.
