Would never have taken this one had my grandson Ian (ian) not pestered me into going hunting that hot day after thanksgiving afternoon!! i'd had knee surgery so parked 4-wheeler right at my ladder stand. The deer snuck in just before dark, when i first saw him, he was about 10yds from the stand looking at the Honda. he was in really thick cover & i had no idea he was so large, He started sneaking away keeping the largest trees on my property between us, finally picked out a hole & took him at 75 or 80 yds, he just about got away, and i would never have seen him had my grandson not badgered me so much to go!!
