Have used Conquests for several years now. Have performed tests with several state side, pacific rim and Euro. made optics. I have used Zeiss in Canadian snowstorms, 3 ft. snow drifts and snowstorms in Colorado and in southern swamps that you had to fight mosquitoes off on Christmas day. I have had them underwater and in 100 degree weather. I have tested them against some of the best offered and they won out. Why have I done this ? Because I'm not being paid to render an opinion. The results are what they are. I can use any of them but I choose the winner of my tests. This is only my opinion and as we all know.......everybody's got one
 
How does the Terra compare to the older style Conquests? I had always been a Nikon Monark and Leupold VX-III guy and bought a 3X9X40 Conquest as they were being phased out. I was blown away with how clear and bright the scope was and at less cost than I had been paying. Now I'm looking for another scope and want to know if the Terra is as clear and bright as the Conquest.
