zeiss conquest question

Should the elevation and windage knobs say the same thing on them? I went to site in my 270 yesterday and when I took the covers off to make adjustments noticed they both said U/R on them. First zeiss I've owned but every other scope I've had says something like up/down on elevation and right/left on windage. Is this correct or did they screw it up at the factory?

Yes, that is the way they are marked.

I do wish they were marked with numbers instead of the lines,,you can pull the turrest up and rest them but their reference marks are hard for me to keep up with.

it is no factor if you jusetzero and shoot but I like to dial up and down
