Your opinion on these scopes

I am looking to get a new scope and am curious if you guys have any experience with these scopes and what you think about them. I don't have experience with either of them. I like they are both front focal plane and illuminated rectles.
Here are some of the specifics for comparison:

I was waiting for the Burris Eliminator III but Burris said it may be September before being released. I don't want to wait another couple of months.

that Leupold is a real good scope,,but for that money I would go ahead and save a little more and get the 3-15 Nightforce,

Nightforce is a great scope and I would love to have one. I am sure it beats these two hands down. Like you said the cost is a bit more. The 3-15x with zero stop turret is roughly $1,850 and the same power with FFP is $2,300. Something to think about.

I have owned both scopes here as well as a Nightforce. NF does NOT beat either the Vortex or the Leupold. My pick of the three after extensive use of each is the Vortex Viper PST. IMO the only thing the Nightforce has over the others is resale value.

i had a m 4 it was ok


but i picked up a used zeiss 6.5 x20 x 50 with target turrets

and love it

I ordered the NF 3-15x56. This is by far the most expensive scope I have ever paid for. We'll see if it is worth the extra money. I'm looking forward to putting it to use.

Well, here is my new scope mounted on my 300WM. I have to admit I like the way it looks. I guess I should take off the sunshade.

Now I just need to get some time away from work and get it sighted in. I may have to play hooky Friday morning before I leave on business travel Saturday.
