Not a monster ... but he's the best I've ever had a shot at. Took him in Wilson County in December 2013. Been hunting for about 21 years and I've only killed 3 bucks in TN in the last 13 years.

Tennessee has some really good bucks. Not great bucks, but......good. Here's my best to date at 127 1/2



Here is this year's best on the list weighing in around 130. He has grown a few inches since this picture.



He now has added 2" to each tine and and the tips are sharp. I think he's finished growing and oh my, what a stud!

I think I know what you mean, catman. When I think of the biggest bucks I've encountered in TN, two come to mind and they were both a good bit bigger than any of the 7-9 pointers I've killed. Maybe, just maybe, one day soon I'll actually kill one that equals either.

The heaviest deer I've ever killed weighed 285 pounds from Fayette County
