Brother of a guy's daughter sent me a picture of a McMinn co. stud his niece killed . Would show the pic but I just don't want to spoil it and plus don't have permission . On the hoof it weighed 217.92 lbs. great looking buck with a really good rack . Just by looking gotta be 135-140+ , could be wrong but a dang good buck .
 
The girl is my 7 year old daughter. She killed the deer Sunday evening of the juvy hunt. It was the best day I have ever had in 25 years of hunting whitetails. To say that I'm a proud father is an understatement. She is an amazing little daddy's girl. I was not going to publicize it, however, half of the county has already saw it on Facebook somehow. So why not....

Wasn't going to post picture until having permission but was hoping me mentioning it would get you to post it . Andy sent me the picture and man that is a stud of a buck . He is as slick as I've seen and very healthy !! Congrats to your daughter and I know you are very proud of her . Have you rough scored him yet ? Guys what do you think ? Think it could make 150's ? Hard to tell with just that one picture but a buck to be very pleased with for sure .

I know you and your daughter are on cloud nine, and for a good reason! Lol Just a fantastic buck and the fact that it's hers....all the better. Awesome!!! Congratulations!
 
McMinn County. He was all alone. Only deer we saw on the weekend. Worked a scrape just inside the wood line and then came into a field edge to feed.

Not an official scorer but I got 136 6/8 gross.

Congrats to both of you! To you Dad, for teaching her to shoot a gun, getting her in the woods, and passing on the family tradition of hunting! And to your daughter, for making a great shot on a trophy 8 pt! I bet it was an awesome day for both of you!
