You Never Know

Just came from a noon meeting, was talking to a guy there I have known for three years. We started talking about how deer and turkey have proliferated in our area. He just up and says, "I only have 200 acres but you are more than willing to come hunt anytime you want. It is mostly wooded but we are covered up with deer and turkeys." He lives in the Watertown area of Wilson County, one of the better parts of the county.

You just never know where the next one is going to come from.

I probably won't hunt it till next year. Too late to be scouting for this year but, turkey season is a great scouting opportunity. He doesn't let anyone else hunt so might be pretty good. Guess I'll have to buy some more ladder stands when Dicks has them on sale.
