I heard and thought I saw deer coming in a few mins ago, but it turned out to be coyotes. One was black phase. Might have been the same pack I heard howling on the way in. They didn't quite come into range. I tried squealing on my hand but no luck. Y'all think the deer hunting is shot or should it all go to normal now that the yotes are gone?
 
Deer interact with coyotes on a daily basis. I wouldn't think that your hunt is shot. I have a trail cam picture a few years ago of a sequence of pictures of two mature bucks at a salt lick while a coyote passes about 20 yards behind them. They did nothing but look in its direction and go back to what they are doing. Will the spook deer sometimes, sure, but I wouldn't give up just because I saw some come through.
 
I was watching 2 coyotes and a doe at the same time for over an hour yesterday morning. I have had deer come in minutes behind a coyote. one doe even stopped and looked off down the hill the way the yote had gone as if she were keeping track of it. she should have looked the other way ;)

You should be fine. I had a Yote run right in on a deer that was close to me over the wknd. The deer spooked a lil and trotted off maybe 50 yards before going back to browsing. The Yote wasn't nearly as lucky, as when he got close enough I gave him a Thunderhead Tattoo. He rolled and yipped for about 50 yards before giving up the Ghost!
Ive watched deer interact with Coyotes dozens of times over the years and unless fawns are involved, the adult deer pay them little attn. and simply just keep an eye on them.

Unfortunately, the "killer cat" has called a truce with the deer. One night, I watched him walk right up to a yearling buck and they touched noses. I think the cat is plotting against me...
 
I shot a coyote last year with my bow. a six point came in ten minutes later on its trail and stopped and smelled and licked the arrow. very strange
 
One year my dad and I were hunting a pipeline during rifle season It was real foggy that morning and a coyote came out about 15 yards away from me. I busted it, dad got upset and told me I ruined our hunt for that morning. Shortly afterwards two shooter bucks walk out in the pipeline. He shot the best one of the two, today it hangs on the wall. Good ole times.
