Which is better? I don't have that much time to hunt and am just trying to up my odds by going at the best time possible. So which do you prefer?
 
We hunt mostly in the mornings i have never been in the afternoon but im sure it could be productive. Redblood or Blue5 can prolly answer this a little better.
 
Since 2003 to the best of memory, on the hunts I have been part of, we have called in 51 yotes, 6 bobcats and 1 fox in the morning and 26 yotes, 4 bobcats and 1 fox in the evening. Note- these are callins not kills. However, more sets and hunts have taken place in the morning. From 1994 (when I called in my 1st yotes) - 2002 (once to the best of my figuring) I only hunted mornings and hardly ever messed with evenings. I was off so much during the day during those years, I didn't have to hunt evenings. Personally, I will take a morning every time, but they certainly can be had right at dark.i

Both will work if conditions are right. One thing for sure you can make more sets in the morning which can add to success.
 
Both first and last light are great times to be out. Mornings though allow you to hit a spot a first light move to a next before it is too late and get in a few more while they are still on the prowl.
 
I think your odds are better in the mornings for the same things everyone else has been saying; opportunity to make more stands earlier in the morning before they bed up. Evenings you just run out of time.
