Hunted from 5:30am until 7:30pm yesterday. Hunted a new power line food plot in the morning with no results. Guy who was with me saw a buck and he texts saying, I couldn't shoot it no clear shot. I go get in the stand I put him in and I said what do you mean, he said this isn't as clear as my back yard. I told him, you will 99% of the time never get a perfect or perfectly clear shot, you have to practice. That afternoon, the dimbwhit again gets in a stand I always see doe in and guess what, drops his bow, breaks his sight, and proceeds to walk 1/4 mile down the road to where I am buried deep in some brush(didn't have a climber with me) and have 6 does in front of me to tell me he broke his bow. I am gonna either teach this kid to hunt, or kill him. Not sure which one, but I hope teach him to hunt.
