I built this one a while back and used YHM forearms. I have heard only good things about YHM products.

Sweet black rifle. I have a buddy who is thinking about getting on of their complete rifles I told him I would ask on here see if anyone had any experience with them.

Good reputation. I didnt use their goodies on my AR build but lots of people have. The do have the word yankee in their name. I think this is probably causing you some concern!

No joke. I am afraid of what liberal groups will get my money if I buy one from them. Seriously I wonder what state they are based out of? Got to go find out.

These guy are stuck in Taxachusetts, but don't worry, they're good folks that make good products. I've done business with YHM for several years now, sold a ton of YHM stuff...currently have a couple of their ARs, quite a few of their suppressors, and a bunch of their other small parts. I was worried about the Yankee thing at first too, but when I first met Nate (my suppressor rep) at SHOT 2007 I knew instantly one of us... talking about shooting deer with a suppressed .308, nice ink on both arms, dipping Copenhagen... he was a redneck... just one that talked a little funny. LOL

AR15.com, on the other hand, is a mixed bag... sure, you'll get some good intel, but you have to sort through a metric buttload of 15-year-old airsoft crap and massive amounts or industry drama to get it. If you have any AR questions, we can get you squared away here.

Yah they seem to be hit or miss over there. I asked about YHM rifles there and got no responses. Sorta surprised with the number of users they have?

TNdeer will always be the "home site" no worries there. Guy on here helped me kill my first deer, can't get no friendlier.

DCloudy thanks for the advice. Now I just got to move some other guns to make room and raise capital!
