WY fee increases

It looks like Wyoming has passed the proposed fee increases to start in 2018.

I don't think the actual fees are that bad as long as I stay out of the "special" licenses. I do think that the potential for preference points to be $75/species for elk/deer/antelope may price me out of hunting there. Also, the archery permit jumps from $25 to $70.

It will be hard to price me out of WY. Now, I may hunt there less often or only build the min amount of points I need.
Glad to see that the jack leg outfitter from Casper didn't get his way. He wants all NR fees to be the special price, including youth.

Tag cost and pints needed will not keep.me out of wyoming. Small price to pay. If you want to play your gotta pay something. But I think this will put more strain on the regular draw and drawing odds in that pool. You can buy alot of points for the difference in regularge vs special draw.
