Encores are great guns. For every "problem" there is a simple cure. Mike Belm's Encore site explains what to do with these guns to maintain them. The rifle is one of the best selling guns in the world and for good reason. I picked up a new unfired Prohunter this week at a local pawn shop. Great deal.
 
Like meat hunter says, check out Bellm T/C. My Encores 20ga slug bbl would flop around in the action, added a 10 buck 2x oversize hinge pin, now I get sub MOA groups at 100yds with SST slugs. My 209 bbl touches holes all day with 120grs BH209 and Barnes TMZs 290gr.
