Going to get my son a rifle of his own this year. This is what I have narrowed it down to. Before I buy a new one, does anyone have one they want to get rid of?

What cartridge are you looking for?
Either. I can't decide. The recoil of the 6.5 would be better for my 8 year old. Conversely, I do not have a 6.5 and 308 makes the most sense as I already load for it.
I'll keep my eyes open for one and let you know if I see one.
