Wrong wind!

Is it just me or is the wind direction forcast never ever correct? Settle in for a hang and hunt within 100 yards of bedding only to watch my scent indicator float right in there. Deer blows at 40.

Hattie, here I am up on my soap box crowing about how a weather man made my set-up wrong and needing reassurance and support from my fellow outdoorsman..........and you give me " it happens". Thanks for the cold hard truth.....I guess.

I hear you. I watched my milkweed blow in all 4 cardinal directions last night. I just try to do my best with set ups but it seems like it's 100% Gods choice.

I really do think the hills of east tn. Just throw the whole thing out the window. Unless its at least a 10 mph wind I usually just figure its gonna swirl.

Get a sportsman's condo....leave the windows closed until time to shoot or use an ozone generator

I hunt near bedding areas often but the wind has to be good! Sometimes it's better to just sit on the ground if you have a good place to sit, just so you can move if the wind switches.

I've had good luck using HuntStand app for wind direction. Really started paying attention to it last year and it really made a difference for me.
