I agree. Different strokes for different folks, but I like the .30-06 caliber.
 
It's always better to upgrade your glass to a higher end scope. A BSA is not a high end scope. Some people's feelings get hurt when you insult their scope or gun choices, but there are alot of better choices out there than a BSA, Simmons, Tasco, or low end Bushnell.
 
I had a BSA 1 time and it was their so called top of the line at the time. I sent it back 3x's,last time it went on E-Bay. I would get it all sited in ,take it out it would be fine for a hunt or two,then it would go nuts. It was on a .223 varmint.
