If they try to do a buy back/ confiscation of guns would you give yours up i sure as hell won't. Give me liberty or give me death
Really? This is a forum for (1) people in Tennessee, (2) who hunt. No one on this forum would be okay with or willingly comply with what you're talking about. I assume you're looking for an echo chamber to bash a far-left idea that everyone here already opposes to the nth degree.

This is a discussion tailor made for Facebook. Not so much the "Deer Hunting Forum" section.

There are a couple of dimocrats lurking around here.... :)

I'm sure there's some lurking. We'll I and maybe some others wouldn't have known Tennessee signed that bill if I hadn't started this thread, was more a curiosity in responses thing. Passing time in my tree really. Appreciate the link

What is the rest of the country going to give up to make it a better place? We all know how successful Prohibition (Volstead Act) was. If there is a buyback, it won't pay you the $1K for your deer rifle and scope.

Great Britain had a gun ban along with South Africa and Australia. Our retired sheriff says now they are trying to figure out why the crime rate gone up. Australia banned a lot of types. Later the ban included bolt action firearms as "they looked evil." BTW, the late Sean O'Connor was one of the advocates of the GB ban. However, he made millions off movies with firearms. Go figure.

Buy back isn't even necessary. Everyone who owns a bump stock were made felons a couple of years ago. No one was compensated and no one put up a fight.

Medicare now requires doctors to ask if you have firearms at home. Wife's doctor said this was mandatory. We also have knives, ice pick, hatchets, axes, hammers, chain saws, baseball bats, bows, arrows, bricks, concrete blocks. Did I miss anything?
If 100 people are killed in a plane crash, why don't they ban airplanes? 300,000 die each year from tobacco products but the government has too much invested to ban tobacco products.

My concern is more about increase in taxes on ammo....or requirements to have special permits.....all at a ridiculous cost....then over time more and more regulations.....we thankfully have some constitutional protection to bear arms....but the political crooks sure can make life difficult on the gun owner.....but to answer the original question....no....I would not give up any gun or participate in any gun buy back program.
