Trying new bullets just to try something different. My 44cal 240gr XTP's in crushed rib sabots have performed perfectly on over 20 deer and they are super accurate. I was running low and had to order more so I decided to see what 45cal 300gr XTP's would do. I shoot both over 90gr 777 fffg out of 2 CVA Accura's and a white lightening. The would you believe part is both bullets hit the exact spot at 100yds, I mean no adjustment whatsoever. I would not have thought it!

Would have thought there would be a little difference. Hope you shot at least a 3 shot group with the 300 grain.

I shot 1 fouling shot, it hit 3" low. I thought well that's to be expected. My next two shots were well inside the 1" dot. I have another accura to shoot, I'll be curious to see if it does the same.

Are you sure, absolutely positive, that the 2nd shot didn't miss the paper completely? :mrgreen: Congrats on finding a backup load for your rifle!
