I will go ahead and tell the story on these two bucks.

The first one I killed was a nine point(175 lbs dressed) taken on Monday, November the 5th in Scott County. He was following a doe when my 50 cal muzzleloader spiraled a 270 grain Powerbelt into his shoulder. He went about twenty yards. It took me 4 hours to drag him uphill out of that old overgrown stripmine.

The second deer is the eight point(150lbs dressed). He was taken from the same area in Scott County the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. It took three hours to drag him (uphill again). I took him with a 1964 manufacture Remington 700 30-06 my best friend willed to me upon his death. The Federal 150 grain powershok bullet dropped him in his tracks.

No Cec, I have not but my little girl got a seven point and my Dad took a spike and three point behind the house. I have not hunted as much around the house as I have over in the mountains in Scott County.
