Leupold Alumina scope caps worth it? I've always just used the Butler Creek caps.

I checked those out years ago, they would certainly be cool. But I couldn't justify the cost, and just put Butler Creek flip up caps on everything.

Yeah that is what I will probably continue to do. Sometimes I catch myself looking at the "greener grass" on the other side.

If i were 1000 miles away from home fighting for my life in the desert and Amazon was not a option for a replacement. I would go for it. But given I only break one every 5-7 years and they are Cheap As F. Ill just keep buying the BC. They work.

Decided to stay with the BC. Made a "cheap" order for caps for a new scope.

I started using cheap monstrum caps. They are more durable then Butler creek.
