Thinking about heading out there for the draw.Is it as crowded as camden?Do they do the buying bullcrap?What blinds are decent?Can't find a lease an thats closest to the house.Thanks fellas.

Not crowded at all. Seems to be fewer every year..... I am kinda new too the Woods hunting. Been in the drawing there for the last 4-5 years. I rely on the guys that I hunt with as to which blind to pick of the ones left. They have hunted here for years and pretty much know what to expect from each one.

I'm sure the buying happens but not to the scale that happens at the Big Sandy draw.

I will be there, good luck to you if you go..... chances are good. Someone in our group has drawn for about the last 4-5 years.

I would say so although I have not heard. I think it was silly to take it off because of the island beehind it that those birds nest on. I am sure they nest somewhere else also.

I know for a fact there are the same type birds that are around my house 5-6 miles away..... no need to take the blind away hunting it shouldn't have any effect on those birds during duck season.

I think it was more the Air Force's decision based on the conservation departments feelings.....

I have NEVER seen a Woods blind sell If you find anybody that hard up for a blind call me and I'll put them on a goodern for some $$$.

I got a mud hole in the back yard I saw a duck on one time. That is about 1 more than you'll see down there.

I have built 11 2 different times. I wore ducks out in 11 a few years ago. Limit after limit of black duck, gadwall, and buffle head.

I have rebuilt another one out there a couple of times too.

WE walked the floor out of 10 last winter! Nothing else to do but pace the floor and it finally just fell out!
